Senator Chuck Hagel

Has been at odds with the sycophants of the republican party for much of Bush's presidency, but never as forceful as today as he supports the withdrawal of our troops from the morass that is Iraq.

This begs the question: Why is he still a Republican since his party has abandoned all vestiges of what they once stood for.

Gone are family values, moral values, fiscal responsibility, small government, honesty, the rule of law.
What is left?
