CONGRESS HAS OVERSIGHT RESPONSIBILITY
Who then sets the procedure for oversight?
With all the uproar over Gonzales - wasn't the writing on the wall before the scandal with the US Attorneys surfaced?
Isn't this the same SOB who created loopholes for illegal wiretaps? Who created loopholes for torture? Who said that no one had the right to habeas corpus because the Constitution does not specifically grant anyone that right, therefore it cannot be taken away?

Hasn't this SOB been all about deceit, loopholes and fabrication?

Now the bushies come up with rules for Congress to exercise their duty of Congressional oversight. Who came up with these rules? Gonzo?
  • that interviews be conducted behind closed doors;
  • that they not be televised or transcribed;
  • that there be no "subsequent testimony";
  • that no subpoenas be issued following the interviews;
  • and that committee members ask no questions concerning internal White House communications.
