The same old dance and no one asks questions

Republicans and Lieberman keep coming up with the same tired reply that 'they' will just wait us out if we set a timetable for Iraq to act in their own defense.

"It will just give the enemy a way to figure out how to wait us out and then win" says Jon Kyl.

Let's consider two possibilities, since the 'enemy' is in control of the strategy in Iraq.

They will keep terrorizing Iraqis and kill Americans 'because they are there' and it is easier to target them there than elsewhere. So they will just keep doing what they are doing, perhaps hoping that the U.S.A. will go the way of the U.S.S.R. -- BANKRUPT

Or if they were really interested, they could 'hibernate' and wait for Americans to withdraw, which they someday will, and must do, and then take over Iraq. Time is on their side.

Something else no one ever asks: "What would be different if we withdrew 10 years from now, five years, one year or next week?
Muslims have been going at each other for 13 centuries, another century probably would make no difference.

Meanwhile we keep training Iraqi military and police so they will someday be better able to kill each other.

BUSH! WHAT HAVE YOU WROUGHT?
