This time Miss Coulter had a unique analysis of former President Bill Clinton, proving that she‘s one heck of constitutional attorney with amazinging gay-dar. Here she is with CNBC‘s Donny Deutsch on his show “The Big Idea” last night. According to Miss Coulter, why was President Clinton such a hound dog when it came to women? It‘s obvious, he‘s a homosexual. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) DONNY DEUTSCH, “THE BIG IDEA”: Off the air, you‘re talking about Bill Clinton, he‘s right here. Do you want to say hi to Bill Clinton, no? ANN COULTER, COLUMNIST: No. DEUTSCH: OK. All right, did you find him attractive was that what it was? COULTER: No. DEUTSCH: You don‘t find him attractive. COULTER: No. OK fine, I‘ll say it on-air. DEUTSCH: Most women find him attractive, so say it on-air. COULTER: I think that sort of rampant promiscuity does show some level of latent homosexuality. DEUTSCH: OK, I think you need to say that again. That Bill Clinton, you think, on some level has—is a latent homosexual, is that what you‘re saying? COULTER: Yeah. I‘m not sort of completely anonymous—I don‘t know if you read the “Star Report,” the rest of us were glued to it. I have many passages memorized. Someone pointed it out on Free Republic, I think, a little disgruntled yesterday. Ann‘s amazing capacity is to state the obvious and make it news. I mean, everyone has always known wildly promiscuous heterosexual men have, as I say, a whiff of the bathhouse about them. MATTHEWS: But you know, you were on—I was watching you on Deutsch last night. I watched it because it‘s all over the blog sites. You were immortal in that interview, by the way, and you said it because you were sort of pushed to say it. I just wonder if you believe it. COULTER: This is standard ... MATTHEWS: It‘s a joke. It‘s a joke. It‘s not a joke. COULTER: It‘s not only not a joke, it‘s not even surprising. If feminists were not so in love with Bill Clinton—this is like standard—for any feminist with the benefit of something beyond a community college education, this is standard feminist doctrine that wild promiscuity shows a fear or hostility of women. Having already used a homosexual slur to describe Al Gore and to suggest Bill Clinton is gay, why she has not been banned from this network I do not know. Her new column is question and answer format. Question: Does Hillary Clinton have a good chance in 2008? Coulter‘s answer: Good chance of what? Coming out of the closet? I‘d say that‘s about even money. So, it‘s slightly lower then, than the odds that you‘ve never seen another adult naked and you‘re a 45-year-old virgin with an Adam‘s apple? 8/9/06 COUNTDOWN OLBERMANN: Why don‘t you take on the corporate oversight, here? Does anybody check any of this anymore or is the premise of a publisher now, just make sure you can‘t be sued and that the checks can be cashed? BROCK: Well standards vary, I mean, we believe that the publisher certainly should look at this and make a public accounting. But I would note that in the past one of her prior books, “Slander,” there was a famous factual error in there where she claimed Dale Earnhardt‘s obituary was never reported in “New York Times” back in 2001 and it was. She lied about it and said she corrected it in the book, and we checked she didn‘t correct it. So, the issue is partly for the publisher, but as I said, I think it‘s very important for all the media outlets to know the wider context here, as you‘ve discussed is, you know, in the context of a book that smeared the 9/11 widows. She‘s been on television advocating political murder and lately, and very strangely, saying that Bill and Hilary Clinton and Al Gore are all gay. So, I think there‘s serious issue of media accountability here. Ann Coulter can say her nonsense but she has no right to be given these platforms and we have a petition on our website at MediaMatters.org if people are concerned about this issues.
